Week one of the MCYB regular season did not disappoint. The Major division finds itself in an early three-way tie for first place after a wild walk-off, the minor league got it's first taste of baseball under the lights, and competitive coach pitch has already provided two entertaining games.
Majors
Krentzman's, T&J's, and Moose are locked in a tie for 1st place after posting 2-1 records through the first week of action. In Friday's action Krentzman's defeated Lake's in the first regular season game under the lights while Moose and T&J's played an intense game that finished with a 2-run, walk-off homerun by Trevor Miles.
Minors
Calkins and the Eagles both jumped out to 2-0 records to take an early lead in the Minor division. Saturday marked the first time that a minor team played under the lights at Rec Park with the Eagles team handing Wilson's an 8-2 loss.
Coach Pitch
All 3 Competitive Coach Pitch teams played this week with Joe's OIP vaulting to the top of the standings with a pair of wins.
